ADDENDUM
The following Addendum to the restrictions recorded as Document 084574 in Owen County on the 29th of May, 1990, was passed by vote of the Bass Haven Home Owners Association, on June 4, 2000.
In the event that this Addendum and the original restrictions (Document 08574) are in conflict, this Addendum shall prevail.
The intent of these specifications is to prevent lot owners from placing trailers or recreational vehicles of any size and type on a lot and leaving them in place for an extended period of time. Any attempt to circumvent the spirit of this intention shall constitute a violation of the restrictions, whether specifically covered or not.
Any dwellings (or movable living quarters) in which people will eat and sleep, whether erected on the owner’s lot, towed in, or driven in, must meet the following specifications whether the structure will be slept in one night/year, 365 nights/year, or not used at all:
1. All dwellings must have a minimum of 1,000 square feet of finished living space.
2. All dwellings must have a gable or hip roof.
3. All dwellings must be placed on a foundation and meet all county building codes.
4. All dwellings must have a minimum width of 25 feet. The length must exceed this dimension.
5. Siding must be of logs, wood, aluminum, stone, brick or vinyl.
6. No dwelling over two floors high shall be erected.
7. Any detached structure must be approved by the Architectural Committee prior to constructions.
Any deviation from these specifications must have written, signed permission from the Bass Haven Architectural Review Committee prior to starting construction. The Architectural Review Committee shall consist of the developer, the president and the treasurer. Prospective lot buyers are cautioned to submit plans or sketches of unusual buildings to the review committee prior to making their purchase. The review Committee must approve all unusual designs or they may not be constructed.
